Today, February 25 night time as I'm writing, I just came from a 12 hour shift. I was hoping that I would never bother with Telus again except to pay off whatever charges I'll be getting for my mobility plan. I was expecting a call also for returning the modem I got. Imagine my surprise when I got a text message.

Somehow, Telus messed up again and didn't cancel the February 26 schedule. I expect that next week, I will see more messages for the other days they scheduled the technicians. 

I was planning on being passive-aggressive about it and just ignore the message and let the technicians waste their time tomorrow. But I'm too much of a nice guy, so I called Telus to confirm the email I got yesterday of the cancelled home internet service and to cancel the technicians for tomorrow.

To continue from my previous post detailing my experience with the horrible Telus customer support in Canada. I finally got a new schedule for Telus to install my PureFibre internet connection. I was going about my day when I got the call from Bell tech. Apparently, the tickets being filed by Telus was wrong according to the Bell tech. As I've stated, the tickets were for Address A only. If Bell comes on February 26, he'll face the same problem. I could technically "ignore" what he said and just wait for him to come on February 26, but the possibility of the Bell tech encountering the same problem and then leaving was high.

This worried me as I already filed for another absence on February 26, that would make more than 1,400 dollars in lost income. The possibility of having to file another day next week would balloon my lost income to as much as 2,100 dollars. That is not a small amount.

 I have been a loyal subscriber to Telus ever since I arrived here in Canada. Well, technically I started off with Koodo in 2019 but I remember Koodo offering me to switch to Telus for a better plan. That's basically 7 years with Telus.

The problem started with applying for a home internet service. I initially tried with the website. Unfortunately, my application kept getting flagged for credit score problems even though I have a credit score of 840 (in Credit Karma)


Now, eventually I managed to talk to a human being. Unfortunately, only one plan was available for my address. It was the 1.5gbps and cost like 130 dollars. I was willing to pay for that just to get a home internet that I need for my work from home gig. The agent did entice me by saying that I'm eligible for some sort of promo that would knock the price down to 79 dollars.

As of October 16, 2023 at 5:15pm EST, Nitrado initiated a server maintenance and locked the web interface.

I will update as soon as they are done.

How to Transfer Your Official Ark Server to Single Player

  1.  Create your single player map first. You can use gcm for creative mode. If you want to make things faster, create a map with a wide area and a transmitter in the middle.
  2. Go to unofficial PC sessions, on the lower left check the box for SHOW PASSWORD PROTECTED and look for [US] NeoArk Single Player Transfers. PM raxus (minecraft avatar) in Xbox for the server password or in messenger if that's how you contacted me.
  3. Admin password will be provided to help you get your stuff. Raid the whole server if you want.
  4. Uncryo dinos and upload them to the ark data in the creature tab. Do not transfer podded dinos, they will become level 1 once you uncryo in single player. You can also transfer items that you want.
  5. You can upload up to 300 dinos at a time.
  6. Go back to single player map. You should be able to download your character if you uploaded it, and then access all your dinos in the transmitter data. Refresh the transmitter if you can't find it.
  7. Access to [US] NeoArk Single Player Transfers will last for 48 hours to let others have the chance to download their stuff.

Valguero1101 September Save Transfer

The snapshot for September Valguero1101(or your requested server) is now up!

  1. To access the server, go to any obelisk/transmitter/stryder
  2. On the sessions on cluster menu, look at the lower left and check the SHOW PASSWORD PROTECTED box. 
  3. This will show the server [US] NeoArk Arkchar Retrieval
  4. The server password is raptor.
  5. Go in server and get your stuff.
  6. To get back to NeoArk 1101, uncheck the SHOW PASSWORD PROTECTED box and you'll see the regular ark servers.
  7. If you need help getting into your tribe, PM raxus!

Warning on Choosing Ark Characters!

Decide which character you want to keep, if you want the September Valguero character or your current NeoArk character.

A.  If you want your September Valguero character, enter arkchar retrieval map from the game menu when you start the game. And when you transfer to NeoArk 1101, overwrite your character. PM raxus if you need help getting back into your tribe in NeoArk

B.  If you want your current NeoArk char, transfer out of NeoArk 1101 and when you enter arkchar retrieval, overwrite your character. PM raxus if you need help entering your september save base.
